The most silent conventional submarine in the world

During the Falklands/Malvinas war a single Argentine Type 209 managed to elude 15 British frigates and the antisubmarine carriers. The San Luis maneuvered into torpedo range of the British fleet and launched three torpedoes, although all three shots were unsuccessful.....

ROK established a submarine service in 1992, with badges for officers (gold) and enlisted (silver). There are two versions of each in existance, one earlier version with a sub and yin-yang symbol centered between two dolphins facing inward and a later version with dolphins facing outward with a centered German style sub over them sub (bow on).
